Families Plus! is requesting $4000 to fund an 8 week support program,“Stepping Up & Out-Finding a Career”, to motivate women to think of work as a career and more than just a job. Funds will be used to provide a meal, childcare, incentive gifts and a workshop related to building a career.
ACTION: The grants committee recommends funding the entire $4000 requested and recommends an additional $1,000 for a total grant of $5,000.
